Dubuque - William Schach, 68, died at the residence of his sister, Elizabeth Schach, 1276 Main Street, Thursday afternoon at 3:50 o'clock, after an illness of six months. The body is at the Didesch Funeral Home, where friends may call. The funeral will be held from the funeral home to St. Patricks Church Saturday morning, with mass at 9 o'clock.

After the funeral the body will be taken to the residence of Miss Mary Schach, Lansing, Ia., where friends may call. Burial will be in Gethsemane Cemetery at Lansing Sunday afternoon.

Mr. Schach was born in Lansing on Oct 1, 1874 and came to Dubuque 24 years ago. He had been second floor manager at Roshek Brothers since coming to Dubuque. He was a member of St. Patrick's Church.

Surviving are one son, John E. Schach, Michigan City, Ind.; one daughter, Mrs. Philip (Marce) Atlas, Hammond, Ind.; three sisters, Miss Elizabeth Schach, Dubuque, and Miss Mary Schach and Mrs. George E. (Edith) Rait, both of Lansing. He was preceeded in death by his wife in 1918, his parents, and one brother Charles.
