Waukon, Ia. - The funeral of Joseph William Jenkins, 81, lifelong resident of Allamakee County, was held at the home with the Rev. W.K. Mitchell, pastor of the Methodist Church, officiating. Burial was in Oakland Cemetery. Mr. Jenkins died at the Postville Hospital where he was a patient for three weeks.

He was born Feb. 25, 1861, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Jonathan Jenkins. Surviving are four sisters: Mrs. Ellen Peterson of Dysart, Mrs. Martha Waters of Postville, Mrs. Eliza Miller of Ames, and Mary at home; and one brother, John of this vicinity.
