Amy R. Boardmam

Amy R Boardman, 78, of LaCrosse, WI, died on Friday, August 17, 1990 at St Francis Medical Center.

She was born on April 8, 1912 at Harpers Ferry, IA to James and Mary (Shields) Kernan.

She married Harry J. Boardmen on August 2, 1938 at Wexford. He died on March 30, 1989.

Amy worked at Marion hall, Viterbo College, La Crosse for many years and later worked at Lutheran Hospital, La Crosse.

She is survived by a daughter, Rosemary (Daniel) Boeck of Chicago, IL; two grand-daughters, Elizabeth and Amanda; four sisters, Mary (Ray) Cahallan of New Albany, IN, Katherine McMahon of DesMoines, Margie may of Las Vegas, NV, and Anna Farley of De Witt, IA; three brothers, Vincent Kernan, John (Ione) Kernan and Cyril Kernan, all of Yakima, WA; and a special niece, Rita (Clement) Bardon of Platteville, WI, as well as many other nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held on Monday, August 20 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, La Crosse with the Rev. Lawrence B. Berger officiating. burial was in St Joseph's Cemetery, Harpers Ferry.
