Postville, Ia. - Funeral services for Louis H. Meyer, 53, who died suddenly Thursday, at his home near Luana, were held at St. Paul's Lutheran church here Sunday. The Rev. Mr. Schlueter, of Monona, officiated. Burial was in Postville cemetery.

Mr. Meyer, the son of Fritz and Charlotte Schroeder Meyer, was born near Postville on June 3, 1892, and all his life was spent in this community. He was married to Makalah Sander, of Postville.

He is survived by his wife; one son, Orville; three sisters, Mrs. Ed Schlee and Mrs. Elmer Hoth, both of Postville, and Mrs. Helen Koevenig, Decorah, Ia.; and three brothers, W.L. Meyer and Henry Meyer, both of Postville, and Ed Myer, Castalia, Ia. He was preceded by his parents and two brothers.
