Funeral services were held Wednesday, March 6 for Marjorie Duffy, 61, who died Friday, March 1, 1996 at Lutheran Hospital in La Crosse, Wi.

The Right Rev. Monsignor Ed Lechtenberg conducted the 10 a.m. Services at Hanson Funeral Home. Burial was in Oakland Cemetery.

Born Jan. 24, 1935 in Waukon, she was the daughter of William and Loretta (Henry) Duffy. Majorie graduated from Waukon High School and had lived in Waukon and Chicago, Il. She was a retired bookkeeper and a member of Holy Name Cathedral in Chicago.

Surviving are two sisters, Delora Duffy and Veronica Ingles, and two brothers, George and Joseph “Les” Duffy.

One sister, Mary, and three brothers, William, Milton and Charles, preceded her in death.

Casket bearers were James, Scott, Vincent and Davied Duffy, Roger Byrnes and Ronald Burt.
