Undertaker J. M. Harris was called about one o'clock this (Saturday) morning to bury the twelve year old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. S. A. Percifield of this city, who died suddenly of the after-effects of scarlet fever. Interment was made during the night. We sympathize with those who mourn the loss of a loved one under particularly sad circumstances.

This child is more than likely, Violet, daughter of Scott & Clara Percifield. She was born 1903 and appears on the 1910 US census as a 7 year old. The family is living in Monona, Clayton co.

By 1920, the family is in Wisconsin. They had a 3 year old named Violet, probably named for the deceased older sister.
