Esther Cordelia Flynn, sixth daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Chas. H. Flynn, was born in Postville, Aug. 30, 1898, and died at the same place June 2, 1911.

She was a child of noble qualities, naturally gifted and of geniaal disposition. She drew about her a large number of friends for one of her years, and her vivacious manner, her soft replies, her display of the artistic in her designs and school work, the readiness with which she engaged in her Sunday School and League work, will be remembered by her many acquaintances and the members of an afflicted family.

The funeral service was held from the home at nine o'clock last Sunday morning, conducted by Rev. C. C. Casper. The goodly company of people present at the early hour and the abundance of choice flowers brought in by friends, plainly indicate much of the respect and sympathy shown for the bereaved family. The remains were conducted by team to Decorah and there deposited in the family burial plot.
