Postville Review, Sat., 27 Dec. 1890

DIED- In Paragould, Ark., Dec. 22, 1890, of consumption, Don W. Hardin, aged [20 or 26] years, five months and __days.

The remains reached here on Wednesday evening and the funeral was held from the M.E. church at 11 a.m. on Friday. A large concourse of relatives and friends attended the last sad rites and followed the remains to their last resting place in the Postville cemetery. We have no time for furthur comment as we are already late.

Death of Don Hardin
The news just reaches us of the sudden death, in Arkansas, of Wilber Don Hardin of Postville. For some months, since early spring, he has been traveling with the Negretto Comedy Company, and though his health has been poor for several years he proved a useful member of the company on account of his adaptability to almost any branch of the business, having had experience in all.

Don commenced to learn the printing business with us and we always found him perfectly honest, pleasant and agreeable, and, like all our other employes we have had, he was our warm friend to the last, and it is with more than ordinary regret that we pen these lines announcing his early death.
