Lester Leroy Meier, the only son of Mr. and Mrs. C. H. Meier, two miles northeast of Postville, died on Monday, Dec. 17th, in his sixteenth year, death being do to diabetes from which he has been a sufferer for the past year.

The funeral was held from the family home Wednesday. Interment in Postville cemetery.
