WAUKON, Iowa -- Edwin Bechtel, 83, of Waukon died Sunday morning at the Good Samaritan Center here.

Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Martin Funeral Home here, where friends may call after 2 p.m. Tuesday. Burial will be in Lansing Ridge Cemetery, rural Lansing, Iowa.

Surviving are a brother, Freemond Bechtel, and a half-sister, Mrs. Marie Schoenthal, both of Waukon.
