From the files of the Iowa Volksblatt of 15 March 1895, and appearing in the "Postville 25 Years Ago" column of the Postville Herald of Fri., 12 March 1920.

Scarlet fever claimed another victim on Monday in the person of the two year old son of Mr. and Mrs. D. N. Turner.

Note:

The Woodmansee burial book shows; Daniel Newall Turner, born 28 Oct. 1845 and died 19 July 1904, and Raymond H. Turner, born 21 Feb. 1893 and died 11 Mar. 1895, both are listed as buried in Area B of Postville cemetery on page 615.
