Rose Bursell

Mrs. Rose Reinhart Bursell was born on November 14, 1895 at Elgin, and passed away on February 19, 1957 while a patient at the Mason City Hospital. She was 61 years, 3 months, and 15 days old.

Mrs. Bursell was married to George Bursell in 1917 and to this union 5 children were born. Of these children, 4 have preceded her in death: 2 sons, Charles and James, and 2 daughters, Anna Mae and Mary Lou Austin.

Those left to mourn her passing are her husband, George Bursell; one daughter, Caroline; 6 grandchildren; and 3 sisters, Mrs. Walter Dennler, Mrs. Lydia Miller, and Mrs. Mary Robinson.

For the past 7 months prior to her concluding illness, Mrs. Bursell made her home at the Good Samaritan Home for the Aged near Rockford, Iowa.

Funeral services were held on February 22, 1957 from Schutte's Funeral Home with burial in the Postville cemetery. The Rev. Marlo D. Petersen officiated.
