Leona Meyer Bachtell

Leona (Meyer) Bachtell, [daughter of Henry C. and Bertha (Krambeer) Meyer], died June 25, 1992 at Fairfax Hospital of Va. Services were held Wednesday, July at 9 a.m. at Ft. Myer Post Chapel with burial at Arlington National Cemetery in Arlington, Va.

She was married to the Col. Robert Carithers Bachtell who preceded her in death on Feb. 19, 1992.

Survivors include her daughters, Barbara Butkus of Tampa, Fla. and Jane B. Hammell of Vienna, Va; sisters, Mrs. John J. (Hilda M.) Martins and Mrs. Harvey (Ruth) Lenth, both of Postville and Mrs. Robert (Amy) Harris of Bethesda, Md. and 4 grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be to the American Lung Association.
