Former Resident Died In Minnesota

Funeral services for Mrs. Elbert E. Burdick, former resident of Postville and vicinity, were held at Thomson funeral chapel in Minneapolis, Minnesota, August 2 with burial in Lakewood cemetery.

Luella Ann Taylor, daughter of Hirem B. and Eliza (Green) Taylor, was born in Caynga County, New York, on May 2, 1870, and passed away suddenly in Minneapolis, July 30, 1951.

On November 25, 1891 she was united in marriage with Elbert Eugene Burdick in Postville. To this union 4 children were born: Mrs. Lois Burnham, Minneapolis; Mrs. Amy Gates, Seattle, Washington; Wesley N., Minneapolis; Eugene E., Portland, Oregon, all of whom survive, also 5 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

Her husband preceded her in death on March 7, 1948. She had been a resident of Minneapolis for the past 31 years.
