POSTVILLE, Ia. -- Mrs. Lloyd (Thelma) Bruce, 69, of Postville died Wednesday morning, [April 25, 1973], at her home.

**[On January 7, 1928, Thelma Irene Naney married William Lloyd Bruce at Council Bluffs, Iowa. The couple spent most of their lives in Postville, Iowa. They were one of the first turkey growers in northeast Iowa. They also owned and operated the Postville Feed Mill for many years.]

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in the Community Presbyterian Church here, with burial in Rose Hill Cemetery at Greene, Ia., at 2 p.m. Saturday. Friends may call after 7 p.m. Thursday at the Schutte Funeral Home here.

Surviving besides her husband are 4 brothers, Clarence Naney of Cisne, Ill., John Naney of Aurora, Ill., Gill and Gene Naney, both of Fairfield, Ill., and 3 sisters, Mrs. Mabel Atteberry of Galatia, Ill., Mrs. Dorothy Hocking of Fairfield, Ill., and Mrs. Bess Elliott of Bodfish, California.
