Rites Held For Mrs. K. Brainard

Funeral services for Jenetta A. Brainard were held Saturday, Dec. 8, 1979 at 1:30 p.m. at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Postville. Rev. David R. Nelson officiated at the service. Schutte Funeral service was in charge of arrangements. Burial was in the Postville Cemetery.

Jenetta Amanda Brainard, daughter of Theodore T. and Julia C. (Olson) Loftsgard, was born Sept. 30, 1921, near Elgin. She passed away Dec. 6, 1979, at Community Memorial Hospital, Postville, at the age of 58 years.

She was baptized and confirmed at Marion Lutheran Church in Gunder, Iowa. She received her education at the Center School, Marion Township.

Oct. 1, 1948, she was united in marriage to Keith Brainard. They were the parents of 3 children. She lived her entire married life on a farm northeast of Postville and was an active member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Postville.

She is preceded in death by her parents, and 2 brothers: Millard and Orven Loftsgard. She is survived by her husband, Keith, 3 children: Mrs. Mark (Marsha) Cooper of Red Wing, Minnesota; Mrs. Lane (Rhonda) Radloff of Luana, and Kamie, at home; and 2 grandchildren.
