The death of Edwin Narum, 65, lifelong resident of Allamakee County, occured Monday at a hospital in Madison from the effects of a paralytic stroke.

As a son of Mr. and Mrs. Sven Narum he was born in Paint Creek Township, Jan. 31, 1872. On Oct. 06, 1906, his marriage to Rhoda Bryson took place. She preceded him in death, June 16, 1918.

They were parents of four children, three of whom survive, namely: Edwin Narum and Mrs. George Prideaux, Madison, Mrs. Theodore Smeby, Waukon. There are also three sisters and three brothers.

The body was brought to his old home for burial in the cemetery adjoining the Old West Paint Creek Church, preceded by services conducted by the Rev. A. P. Lea.
