Mrs. Leikvold Passes Away.
Emiline Rema was born in Center township November 19, 1884.
She was united in marriage to Gilbert Leikvold September 05, 1906, and to this union four children were born, namely; Evelyn , 12, Clarice, 9, Gordon, 6, and Lloyd, 2.
She had been ailing for several months from cancer of the brain, but never complained, until the latter part of April her arm became paralyzed, and she grew weaker. The doctors, having no hopes for her, took her to Rochester, but nothing could be done for her, and she passed away June 28, 1920. Besides her husband and children she is survived by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Rema; two sisters, Mrs. Jeglum of Waterville; Mrs. Oscar Evenson of Harpers Ferry; two brothers, Leonard and John at home, and many relatives and friends.
The funeral will be held this afternoon at ten o'clock at the home, from where she will be taken to the East Paint Creek church and burial taking place in Paint Creek cemetery, Rev. Unseth officiating.
