Funeral services for Michael Clarity, 64, who dropped dead while walking late Sunday afternoon, were held at St. Patrick's church in Waukon at 9:30 Tuesday morning, with burial in Mt. Olivet cemetery.
Mr. Clarity was walking with Dave Knopf, an old friend, when he was fatally sticken. Physicians were were called said death was due to a heart attack.
Mr. Clarity was born in Ludlow township on October 2, 1872, a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Anthony Clarity, pioneers of that vicinity. He lived onthe farm until 10 years ago when he moved to Waukon to reside. He is survived by two brothers, Judge Anthony Clarity of Freeport, Ill., and James, who is a patient at the Postville hospital. Three sisters preceded him in death.
"Mike" as he was familiarly called was a Postville resident some years ago, and friends will regret to learn of his passing.
