Ashley Ann Hawkins, infant daughter of Matthew and Jennifer (Pladsen) Hawkins of Lansing, Iowa, died at birth Saturday December 6, 1997 at the Winneshiek County Memorial Hospital in Decorah, Iowa. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, December 12 at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Waukon, Iowa with the Rt. Rev. Monsignor Ed Lechtenberg officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Martin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Ashley is survived by her parents; her sisters, Andrea and Reallynn, both at home; her grandparents, Gary Pladsen of Waukon, Iowa, Patricia Pladsen of Lansing, Iowa and Sheryl Hawkins of Galveston, Texas; great-grandparents Ed and Betty Hawkins and Irene Lewey, all of Waukon, Iowa.
