Rossville Lady Is Called By Death
Mrs. John Frink Succumbs Last Wednesday At Home After Long Illness
Mrs. John Frink passed away last Wednesday, December 8 at her home in Rossville. She had been in failing health for some time, but she was able to be up and about her home until the day of her death. She was 77 years old.
Mrs. Frink was born in Rossville on February 25, 1860, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Freemond Baldwin. She was united in marriage to John Frink on January 4, 1881 in Waukon. Seven children were born to this union, one daughter and six sons. For 50 years they lived on their farm near Rossville, and seven years ago they moved to Rossville to make their home.
She leaves to mourn her death her husband and the following children: Clifford of Cylinder, Herbert and Orville of Rossville, Dudley of Austin, Minnesota, Reuben of Waterville, Merle of Waukon and Mrs. Ray Rush, who lives on the home farm. One sister also survives, Mrs. M.S.Fink of Cylinder.
The funeral services were held Friday from the Rossville Presbyterian church, of which she was a member. The Reverend Fred Butler of Frankville officiating, and burial was made in the Rossville cemetery.
