PIONEER MOTHER CALLED
Relatives and friends were shocked and saddened to learn of the sudden death of Mrs. John O'Neill, which took place about the supper hour Wednesday evening of last week at her home on West Ridge. The funeral was held Saturday morning from the West Ridge church a Requiem Solemn High Mass being celebrated by her nephew, Rev. M.J. Martin of Columbia College, Dubuque, assisted by the Rev. Reynolds of Hanover and Rev. O'Toole of Lycurgus. Rev. Father Becker her pastor, sang the requiem mass and the chuch was filled with sorrowing neighbors and friends.
The following casket bearers: Charles Farley, Albert Liddiard, Wm. Rea, Walter Mellick, John McMorrow and Joe Ryan laid the remains in the family lot in the cemetery near the church.
