A funeral mass was held Monday, July 26 for Louella "Lou" Nickol-Golden, age 84, who died Saturday, January 24, 1998 at her home in Hoffman Estates, Illinois. The 10 a.m. mass was held at St. Hubert Church in Hoffman Estates. Burial was in the St. Mary Cemetery in Buffalo Grove, Illinois. She was preceded in death by her parents, her two husbands, John Nickol and Eugene "Gene" Golden, and her brother, Albert Schwartzhoff.

Louella Schwartzhoff was born February 18, 1913 in Dorchester, Iowa. * Her parents were not named.* She is survived by her 5 children, Richard (Donna) Nickol, James Nickol,
Barbara (Nickol) Wunschel, Jack (Sharren) Nickol, and William Nickol; 14 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild; and a brother, William (Julie) Schwartzhoff.
