Last Rites For Lynn Livingood

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, Dec. 28, at 1:30 p.m. from First Baptist Church in Waukon for Lynn Mayhue Livingood, 59 who died Saturday, Dec. 25 following a heart attack. He was a patient in Waukon Veterans Memorial Hospital for two days.

Mr. Livingood was born April 25, 1908, in Post township of Allamakee county, to Edwin R. and Mathilda Pechia Livingood. He lived in Allamakee county all of his life and was employed as a farmer and salesman. He moved to Waukon in 1962.

Oct. 1, 1929 he married Daisy Thornton in Waukon. She survives. Other survivors are two daughters, Mrs. Roger (Eileen) Honn, Waukon and Mrs. Ronald (Lynette) Heilig of Milpitas, Calif., a son Leslie Livingood of Frankville and 12 grandchildren; a brother, Willard of Postville and three sisters: Mrs. Gerald (Stella) Moose, Waukon, Mrs. Elwood (Caroline) Lawson, Caledonia, Minn., and Mrs. Alfred (Nellie) Winters, Postville. A grandchild preceded him in death.
