Funeral services for Alden James Larson, age 90, a resident of Northgate Manor, Waukon, Iowa, were held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, January 9 at the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Waukon, Iowa with Pastor Eddy Cabrera officiating. Burial was in Oakland Cemetery with Hanson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Alden James Larson, son of Anton C. and Matilda Larson, was born December 23, 1901 in Waukon, Iowa. He attended Waukon Grade School, Oak Park Academy in Nevada, Iowa, and Broadview College in Chicago, Illinois. On May 19, 1936 he and Josephine F. Hendricks were married in Charles City, Iowa. He was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church and he was an assistant to Attorney Arthur E. Sheridan for over 50 years.

Alden James Larson died Saturday, January 5, 1991 at Veterans Memorial Hospital in Waukon, Iowa. He was preceded in death by his 3 sons, Keith Rollin Larson, and two in infancy; a brother Ralph L. Larson, and a sister, Myrtle Britain.

Alden is survived by his wife Josephine.
