Leona G.Butler, age 88, of Waukon, Iowa died Tuesday, March 20, 2001 at Northgate Care Center in Waukon, Iowa following a lengthy illness. She was born February 5, 1913. Memorial services will be held Saturday March 31, at 1:30 p.m. at Salem United Church of Christ in rural Waukon, Iowa with Rev. Donald Berg officiating. Burial of ashes will be in Salem Cemetery. There will be no visitation.

The Cedar Rapids Gazette, Thur., 29 March 2001, adds: "Survivors include two step-sons, Brooks of St. Paul, Minn., and David of Sarasota, Fla."
