Francis "Frank" Geinzer, age 74, of Solon, Iowa, formerly of Lansing, Iowa, died Tuesday, July 31, 2001 in St. Luke's Hospital, Cedar Rapids, Iowa, following a sudden illness. He was born near Lansing, Iowa on September 23, 1926 to Andrew and Lillian (Bellows) Geinzer. He married Donna Brandt on June 23, 1956 in Caledonia, Minnesota. Frank had been a resident of the Solon area since 1980. For more than 30 years, he was known as "Frank the Culligan Man" and retired in 1989. After he retired, he worked a short time for Rockwell in the Security department. Frank was a United States Navy veteran.

Francis Geinzer is survived by his wife, Donna; 4 daughters, Connie (Steve) Wright of Toddville, Iowa, Cindy (Rodney) Groff of Wellman, Iowa, Christy (Dennis) Fagle of Marion, Iowa, and Carrie Allen and her special friend, Rob Kolosik; 2 sons, Robert (Chris) Geinzer of Howell, Michigan, and Guy (Barbara) Geinzer of Lisbon, Iowa; 10 grandchildren, Jennifer, Nathan, Nicole, Carl, Melissa, Jason, Tony, Stacey, Jessica, and Marshall.

Francis "Frank" Geinzer was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers.
