Syble C. Myers, age 77, of Harpers Ferry, Iowa died Sunday, November 26, 1995 at the Veterans Memorial Hospital in Waukon, Iowa. A memorial gathering for family and friends will be held Thursday, November 30 from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Harbor House in Harpers Ferry. There will be no visitation. Arrangements are by Hanson Funeral Home. She was preceded in death by her husband, who died August 25, 1986 and her son, Dennis Myers.

Syble was born June 9, 1918 in Cordova County, Alabama to David and Clara (Burton) Stocks. On September 26, 1936, she married John Myers in Chicago, Illinois. She is survived by her children, Wahdean Alag of Park Ridge, Illinois, Ann Maniscalco of Chicago, Illinois, Hollis Myers of Bristol, Wisconsin, and Robert Myers of Chicago, Illinois; 15 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild; and one sister, Ida Ellis of Jasper, Alabama.
