Funeral services for John Joseph Drew, age 88, of Waukon, Iowa were held Thursday, June 28 at 10 a.m. at St. Patrick's Catholic Church with Father Ed Lechtenberg officiating. Burial was in Mt. Olivet Cemetery with Hanson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Casket bearers were James Ryan, James Urell, John Urell, Pat Curtin, Don McGraw, and Richard Beall. Honorary casket bearers were Northgate Manor nursing home staff members.

John Joseph Drew, son of James and Hanorah (Magner) Drew, was born June 10, 1902. He was a farmer before retiring. He was a member of St. Patrick's Church in Waukon, Iowa. He had been a resident of Northgate Manor.

John Joseph Drew died Monday, June 25, 1990 at the Veterans Memorial Hospital. He is survived by 3 sisters, Loretta Ryan, Catherine Drew, and Ethel Urell, all of Waukon, Iowa.
