Funeral services were held Friday, July 27 at Stevens Memorial Chapel in Ames, Iowa for Dorothy Irene (Miller) Bulman, a former Allamakee County, Iowa resident. Burial was in the Ames Municipal Cemetery in Ames, Iowa. Stevens Memorial Chapel of Ames, Iowa was in charge of arrangements.

Dorothy Irene, daughter of Lawrence and Alma (Lawson) Miller, was born March 2, 1920 in Waukon, Iowa. She married DuWayne Bulman on April 6, 1946 in Postville, Iowa. She was a member of the Gilbert Women's Club and also of TOPS Gilbert Chapel. Before retiring in 1985, she had been a bookkeeper for Jim Wagner Lincoln/Mercury.

Dorothy died Tuesday, July 24, 1990 at Mary Greeley Medical Center in Ames, Iowa. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, DuWayne who died January 22, 1974 and a sister, Marie Monthei who died in 1979.

Dorothy is survived by a son, Joe Bulman of Ames, Iowa.

* Note: Dorothy's mother married Harold Brown and from that marriage Dorothy did have 2 step-sisters and a step-brother, Marian Racine, Betty Olson, and Harold Brown, Jr. Betty had preceded Dorothy in death but it is not known if Marian and Harold were still alive at the time of Dorothy's death.
