Marguerite McMillan was the daughter of William M. and Florence Edna (Hawkins) McMillan. She was born in the vicinity of Rossville, Iowa on November 23, 1923. She was attending the Waterville Consolidated School. She is survived by her parents and two brothers Carlyle and Donald, both at home. The funeral service was held at the Rossville Presbyterian Church, Wednesday morning. Rev. Farnham conducting the services. Burial was in the Rossville Cemetery.

MARGUERITE McMILLAN LAID TO REST TODAY
Miss Maarguerite McMillan, bosom friend of Miss Valeria Canoe, was buried this morning at the Rossville cemetery.
Services were held from the Rossville Presbyterian Church this morning at 10 o'clock with the Rev. S. Sinning officiating.
Miss McMillan was born Nov. 23, 1924, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William McMillan of Paint Creek township. She received her early education in the rural school near her home and later attended the Waterville High School.
Besides her parents, she is survived by a brother, Donald, at home and a married brother, Carlyle, living in Paint Creek township also.
Out-of-town relatives at the funeral were Mr. and Mrs. Vern Dundee of Cedar Rapids, Mrs. Frances Brandon of Cedar Rapids, Mr. and Mrs. Ed Raab of Maquoketa and Mr. and Mrs. Otto Duball of Dubuque. Pallbearers were those who served at the funeral of Miss Canoe that same afternoon.
