LANSING, Iowa -- Paul E. Moritz, 67, of Lansing, died Sunday, May 1, 2011, at Gundersen Lutheran Hospital, La Crosse, Wis.

In keeping with Paul's wishes, his body was cremated and no services will be held. A private family inurnment will be held at a later date at the Clayton Center Cemetery.

He was born on Sept. 28, 1943, in Elkader, son of Homer and Donna Oelke Moritz.

Surviving are his long-time special friend, Debra Darling, of Waukon; his mother and stepfather, Donna and Ken Radloff, of Farmersburg; his brother, Dave (Diana) Moritz, of Lansing; his sisters, Mary Anderson, formerly of Waukon, and Kathy (Jim) Granlund, of Alexandria, Minn.; his very special nephew and nieces, Dave (Kathy) Moritz Jr., of Lansing, Michelle (Abe Leis) Kurth, of Holman, Wis., Vicky (Rich) Bannen, of Stueben, Wis., and Dawn (Tom) Fish, of Red Wing, Minn.

He was preceded in death by his father, Homer in 1950; and a brother-in-law, Ken Anderson, in 2009.
