Duane Nolte

Duane Nolte, 89, of Quincy, IL died Tuesday, March 8, 2011 in his home. Cremation rites were accorded. A graveside Memorial Service will be held at a later date at the Bethlehem Presbyterian Church in Waukon.
Duane was born February 16, 1922 in Waukon to William and Martha (Klein) Nolte. He was a graduate of Waukon High School and farmed in Allamakee County in his early years. Duane then became an insurance agent with Banker’s Life and Casualty in Cleveland, TN, where he remained for many years. After retiring, he moved to Quincy, IL.
Survivors include one son, Erick Nolte of Cleveland, TN; one brother, Leo Nolte of Largo, FL; and a sister, Lorna Bradley of Quincy, IL. Duane was preceded in death by his parents; three sisters of Waukon, Bernice Klocke, Dorothy Adam and Marion Nolting; one brother, Lester Nolte of West Plains, MO; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to the Bethlehem Presbyterian Church in Waukon.
