Services were conducted Thursday, January 24 at 1:30 p.m. from Stevens Memorial Chapel, Ames, for DuWayne E. Bulman, who died January 22 at Mary Greeley Hospital in Ames. Death was caused by a brain tumor. He had been ill since September, 1973.

Mr. Bulman was born in Postville April 24, 1919 and was married to Dorothy Miller in 1946 in Postville.

A veteran of World War II, he was a prisoner of war in Germany for two years. The couple moved to Ames in 1951 where Mr. Bulman was employed by Zales Jewelers. He was a member of the Moose Lodge and the American Legion.

Survivors include his wife, a son Joseph at home and two brothers, Howard of Newton and Neil of Forest City.
