Dr. John McCullough, 70, of Houston, Texas, formerly of Waukon, died Sunday in a Houston hospital after a lengthy illness. Services: 11 a.m. Thursday, St. Mary's Catholic Church, Hanover. Burial: church cemetery. Friends may call from 8 to 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Hanson Funeral Home, Waukon.

Survivors include a daughter, Kathy Kitchens of Garland, Texas; two sons, John Jr. of Houston and Joe of Minneapolis; and four sisters, Mary Bresnahan of Waukon, Allice Warren of Kansas City, Mo., Martha Striplang of Miami, Fla., and Ellen Martin of Garland, Texas.
