Lillian Bostad, age 79, of Sparta, Wisconsin, died Friday, January 31, 1986 at her home. Memorial services were held at 11 a.m. Monday, February 3 at the United Methodist Church in Sparta, Wisconsin with the Rev. Richard Maser officiating.

Lillian was born July 1, 1906 in Dorchester, Iowa to John and Ada (Sadler) Martin. She married George Liedahl on April 24, 1924. He preceded her in death.

On September 22, 1945 she married Ben Bostad in Chicago, Illinois. He died January 11, 1981. Besides her husbands, she was preceded in death by two sons, two brothers and a sister. *

Surviving are 2 grandsons, Glenn Liedahl of Brooklyn Park, Minnesota and Keith Liedahl of Chicago, Illinois; 2 step-sons, Richard Wright of Sparta, Wisconsin and Elmer Wright of Juneau, Wisconsin; 7 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren; 1 sister, Mrs. Clarence (Gladys) Arttus of Sparta, Wisconsin.

* Note: The names of her brothers are probably Ridge Martin and Edward Martin. In the obituary for Ridge Martin, Mrs. James Hanson is listed as a sister along with Mrs. Ben Bostad, and a Mrs. William Shefelbine. Mrs. Shelfelbine could be the above named Gladys.
