Leonard C. Meyer, age 64, a former Waukon resident who had lived in Cedar Rapids, Iowa for the last 32 years, died January 16, 1987 at Mercy Hospital in Cedar Rapids, Iowa following a lengthy illness. Services were January 19 at the Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home, Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Burial was in Linwood Cemetery in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.

Leonard was born in Postville on December 27, 1922, the son of Victor C. and Emma (Willman) Meyer. He had worked at Globe Machinery in Cedar Rapids for 17 years. He married Norma Johnson. He is survived by his wife, Norma, a son, Dennis Meyer of Cedar Falls, Iowa; 2 granddaughters; and his sister, Mrs. Ted Feickert of Postville, Iowa.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a daughter, Dixie Meyer.
