Mrs. J.F. McKinley (Ellen Fleming) died at her home eight miles west of the city at 10 o’clock Friday night, after a brief illness from pneumonia. Just six weeks ago Friday and at nearly the same hour, Mr. McKinley passed away. Mrs. McKinley was sixty-four years old and is survived by 10 children. From early childhood, Mrs. McKinley has been a devoted member of the Catholic church. The McKinley family removed from Iowa to Greene county six years ago and is well known and held in high esteem. The funeral services will be held from Sacred Heart church at 10 o’clock this morning. The remains will be interned beside those of her husband in St. Mary’s cemetery.
