Funeral services were held for Frank P. McCormick, age 84, of Harpers Ferry, Iowa Saturday September 26. Father Bernard Grady and Father Hutchinson officiated at the 10:30 a.m. service held at St. Pius Catholic Church, Cherry Mound, rural Harpers Ferry, Iowa. Burial was in St. Pius Cemetery. Hanson Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. Pallbearers were David Fish, Mark, Loren, and Brian Corrigan, and Steve and Mike McCormick.

Frank died Wednesday, September 23, 1987 at Rossville, Iowa. He was born August 5, 1903 in Waterville, Iowa to Edward and Catherine McCormick. On January 2, 1930 he married Lucille Boardman in Elkader, Iowa. He was a farmer and made his home in Allamakee County, Iowa. He was a member of St. Pius Church.

Preceding him in death were his parents: 5 brothers, John McCormick, Leo McCormick, Carl McCormick, Leonard McCormick and Donald McCormick, and a sister Mabel.

Survivors include his wife, Lucille; 2 daughters, Fern Corrigan and Delores Fish; 3 sons, Norman McCormick, Earl McCormick and Donald McCormick; 18 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
