Funeral services for Kenneth S. Malli, age 71, of Waukon, Iowa were held Thursday, November 12 at St. Patrick's Catholic Church at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Edward Lechtenberg officiating. He died Sunday, November 8, 1987 at Veterans Memorial Hospital in Waukon, Iowa. Burial was in Mt. Olivet Cemetery with Hanson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Casket bearers were Robert, Mike, and Patrick Malli, Joe Hlubek, Jr., Gary Hart, Pat Bresnahan, and Roger Malli.

Kenneth was born January 20, 1916 in Decorah, Iowa to James E. and Mary (Anderson) Malli. He graduated from Decorah High School. He married Frances McCullough on October 15, 1941 at St. Patrick's Church in Waukon, Iowa. He was a member of St. Patrick's Church, a retired farmer and a long-time Waukon resident.

He was preceded in death by a daughter Bonita Malli, a sister Margaret and four brothers, John Malli, Bill Malli, Floyd Malli, and Robert Malli.

Surviving are his wife, Frances; a son Robert of Clear Lake, Iowa; a daughter Mrs. Scott (Karen) Jenkins of Buffalo Grove, Illinois; 5 grandchildren, Robert, Mike, Pat, and Suzanne Malli and Rebecca Jenkins; 3 sisters, Mrs. Gus (Ruth) Jakubsen and Mrs. Joe (Irene) Hlubek, both of Clinton, Iowa, and Mrs. Merle (Kay) Benoit of Mesa, Arizona; and 2 brothers, James E. Malli of Clinton, Iowa and Donald Malli of Chester, Connecticut.
