Tuesday, October 6, 1987, funeral services were held for Thomas John McCormick, age 27, at St. Mary's Church, Hanover, Allamakee County, Iowa. The Rev. Henry Charipar was the officiating clergyman at the 10:30 a.m. service. Burial was in St. Mary's Church cemetery. Hanson Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. Casket bearers were Bob Hager, Dale Urell, Greg Hirth, Roger Quandahl, Kenny Schulte, and Tom Buege.

Thomas died Saturday, October 3, 1987 in a farm accident near Harpers Ferry, Iowa. He was born August 9, 1960 to John Joe and Jeanette (Schulte) McCormick in Spring Grove, Minnesota. He graduated from Waukon High School. He was employed as a grain hauler for Quandahl Grain Service in Waukon, Iowa.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents, John McCormick and John and Ella Schulte.

Surviving are his grandmother, Mary McCormick; his parents; 2 brothers, Bob McCormick of Waukon, Iowa and Ron McCormick of Dorchester, Iowa; 2 sisters, Jean McCormick of Waukon, Iowa and Judy McCormick of Oceanside, California; and his fiancee, Brenda Houdek of Waukon, Iowa.
