Waukon - The body of Edwin Roldson, 61, was found Tuesday in a deserted barn on the Ambrose Lee farm in Center township. Roldson, who had been living at the Lee farm, had not been seen by the Lees since Dec. 19. They didn't become immediately concerned because he would often be gone for periods of time. They thought he had gone to Lansing to work. He was a carpenter. However, when he didn't return, he was reported as missing. The body was found during a search of the area by neighbors. The county medical examiner rued that death was due to exposure. He
said he thought Mr. Roldson had been dead for some time.He is survived by three brothers, Oscar of Waukon; Tilman of Tucson, Ariz., and Clarence of rural Waukon. Services: Thursday at 1 p.m. at
the Old East Paint Creek Lutheran church. The body is at the Martin funeral home.~Cedar Rapids Gazette, Jan 24, 1968
~Note: Mr. Roldson was a WWII veteran
