Evelyn K. Lippe, age 69, of Waukon, Iowa died Monday September 22, 1986 at Veterans Memorial Hospital. Services were held Wednesday September 24, at 1:30 p.m. at Martin Funeral Home with Rev. Lynn Groe officiating. Burial was in Lansing Ridge Cemetery with Martin Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Casket bearers were Mike Blaess, Richard Lippe, Ronald Lippe, Greg Snitker, Gaylen Snitker, and Howard Snitker.

Evelyn was born in Allamakee County to Julius and Caroline (Hagen) Moen on June 22, 1917. A lifetime area resident, she attended local rural schools and married Herman Lippe on November 13, 1938 in Allamakee County. He died in July of 1982. She was a homemaker and a member of the Lutheran Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Herman; a brother Arthur Moen and three sisters, Myrtle Leyse, Ruby Pladsen, and Lillian Brown.

Survivors include a son Curtis Lippe, a daughter Mrs. Norvin (Harriet) Qualey, both of Decorah, Iowa; 8 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Also surviving are a brother Carl Moen of Waukon, Iowa and 2 sisters, Mrs. Howard (Viola) Snitker of Waukon, Iowa and Mrs. Robert (Joyce) Baumgartner of Luana, Iowa.
