Raymond F. Doubek, age 66, of Waukon, Iowa died Thursday, March 5, 1987 at Veterans Memorial Hospital in Waukon, Iowa. Funeral services were Saturday March 7, at 1:30 p.m. at First Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Larry Olson officiating. Burial was in the Oakland Cemetery with Martin Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Casket bearers were Gary Berger, Glenn Cooper, James McCormick, Ralph Dougherty, Donald Schwartzhoff, and Gary Lonning.

Raymond was born April 29, 1920 in rural Dorchester, Iowa to Frank and Mary (Hayle) Doubek. He attended rural Dorchester Schools and married Mildred Schafer on February 24, 1943 at the Little Brown Church in Nashua, Iowa. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church and a concrete and masonry construction worker.

He was preceded in death by three brothers, Ralph Doubek, Joseph Doubek, and a younger brother in infancy.

Survivors include his wife, Mildred; 3 daughters, Mrs. Casper (Darlene) Jostand, Mrs. Randy (Diane) Sweeney, and Mrs. Mick (Donna) Eberhart, all of Waukon, Iowa; 8 grandchildren; 4 brothers, Thomas Doubek and Tony Doubek, both of Waukon, Iowa, Francis Doubek of Austin, Minnesota and Carl Doubek of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; 2 sisters, Lillian Schwartzhoff of Waukon, Iowa and Helen Duffy of Houston, Minnesota.
