Louis W. "Webb" Wohlers, age 75, of New Albin, Iowa died Thursday, May 22, 1986 at Thornton Manor, Lansing, Iowa. Services were held at the New Albin Town House Sunday, May 25 at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Tom Mattson officiating. Burial was in the New Albin City cemetery. Haugen-Roble Funeral Home of Caledonia, Minnesota was in charge of arrangements. Casket bearers were Ray Mulholland, Robert Dresselhaus, Clem Sires, Bernard Dougherty, Pete Hartley, and Gilman Meyer.

Louis was born February 1, 1911 in Houston County, Minnesota to William and Alvina (Ehlers) Wohlers. He married Lucille Geiser on March 1, 1945 in Missouri. He retired in 1974 after working 46 years for the Milwaukee Road Railroad.

He is preceded in death by his parents, a sister, a brother Earl Wohlers and second sister, Mrs. Helen Welper.

Survivors are his wife, Lucille and a brother Roy Wohlers of Reno, Minnesota.
