Larry Ferring, age 39, of Lansing, Iowa died Monday, June 20, 1988 of injuries received in an industrial accident in Sauk City, Wisconsin. Funeral services have been set for 11 a.m. Friday, June 24 at Immaculate Conception Church in Lansing with Father Manternach officiating. Burial will be in the Gethsemane Cemetery with Burke-Thornburg Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Casket bearers are Ron Feuerhelm, Barney Diersen, Gerry Seitz, Tom Garrett, John DeLong, George Duster, and Edward Strong.

He was born March 27, 1949 in Waukon, Iowa to George and Winifred (Barthell) Ferring. He was a lineman for Cooper Construction Company.

Surviving are his parents; 3 sons, Dan Kiley, and Ricky and Ronald Ferring, all of Lansing, Iowa; 3 sisters, Marie Snider of LaCrosse, Wisconsin, Georgia Tobin of Lansing, Iowa, and Jacqueline Conrad of LaCrescent, Minnesota.
