Mrs. W. H. Young, Auburndale, Dies
Auburndale- Mrs. W. H. Young died Sunday, Feb. 26 at 1:00 p.m. after a two weeks' illness with double pneumonia. At the time of her death she was 65 years old, being born August 25, 1863, in Alamakee, Iowa. Her death occurred at the Young home north of Auburndale.Receiving a good education she taught school for several years. On April 13, 1887, she was married to Mr. Young and they made their home first in Iowa and later in Candor, N. D. For more than twenty years they have resided on a farm north of Auburndale in the Green Valley section.
Mrs. Young is survived by her husband and three children, who are Mrs. Harry Piquet and C. M. Young, Green Valley, and Lloyd Young, Auburndale. Two children preceded her in death.
The surviving brothers and sisters are: John Bolman, state of Washington; Jesse Bolman, Mt. Vernon Wash.; James Bolman, Harper's Ferry, Iowa; Arthur Bolman, Havre, Montana; Ray Bolman, Leeds, N. D.; Mrs. Andrew Leppert, Lansing, Iowa; Mrs. K. F. Ebner, Candor, N. D.; Mrs. John Shefelbine, Dorchester, Iowa, and Mrs. William Palor, Osakis, Minn.
The body was shipped to Iowa this morning for interment there. Members of the family accompanied the remains to their final resting place.
