Lydia M. (Hart) Towns Holland

Late Lydia M. Holland Was Daughter of Harts

Mrs. Lydia M. Holland, widow of the late Charles P. Holland, died in the Newton Hospital, Newton, Mass. early Friday morning, Dec. 3, after a short illness, at the age of 76.

Mrs. Holland had been married twice, her first husband being Hiram E. Towns of Fond du Lac, Wis. She was the daughter of the late Abram V. and Mary Beal Hart of Postville, and a sister of J. B. Hart.

Mrs. Holland resided in Great Neck, Long Island, N. Y., from 1912 to 1936 and after the death of Mr. Holland in 1930 she went to live with her daughter, Mrs. Fred W. Osborn of Wellesley Hills, Mass., making her permanent home there in 1936.

She is survived by her daughter, granddaughter, Mrs. Ray Cutler, two great grandchildren and her son, Glen E. Towns, of Brooklyn, N. Y.

Services were held in the Chapel at Newton Cemetery, Newton, Mass., Sunday, Dec. 5. The body was cremated and the ashes will be interred in the family plot in Postville.
