Kenneth James Williams, age 47 of Harpers Ferry, Iowa died October 15, 1988 at Gundersen Lutheran Hospital in LaCrosse, Wisconsin. Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Tuesday October 18 at St.Anne's Church in Harpers Ferry, Iowa with Father Duane Raftis officiating. Burial was in St.Anne's-St.Joseph's cemetery with Hanson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Casket bearers were Roger Valley, Charles Luster, Kenny Boots, John L. Sullivan, John Easley, and George Delaney. Honorary pallbearers were Vincent Card, Tom Frye, Bob Livingston, Don McCormick, Harold Mettner, Jim Wagner, John Luster, Dick Saddler, Don Kleinschmidt, and Doyle (Butch) Gage.

He was born April 15, 1941 in LaCrosse, Wisconsin to James L. and Theresa (Livingston) Williams. He was a graduate of the University of Iowa with a B.A. degree in business administration. He served in the Army from October 1963 to April 1966. He was a certified public accountant and a member of the St.Anne's Church, American Legion, and the University of Iowa Alumni Association.

He was preceded in death by his parents. Surviving are a brother, James B. Williams and a sister, Rita Mathis.
