Wallace Alvin Linville was born July 4, 1909 at Magnolia, IL to parents Edwawrd and Lola Mae Nickum Linville. He died Monday, Oct 29, 1990 at Veterans Memorial Hospital in Waukon, IA.

He graduated from Wapello High School, Wapello, IA. On June 24, 1937 he was married to Lena Pearl Schlitter at St. John's Methodist Church in Davenport. They lived in Davenport, IA for many years. He worked for Red Jacket Pump Company and was a propane gas distributor for many years. In 1975 they moved to Harpers Ferry.

Preceding him in death were 2 brothers, Lawrence and Bill and one sister, Nellie Allison.

Surviving is his wife, Lena, one son, Alvin of Wolf Point, MT; 3 grandchildren, one brother John, and 2 sisters, Hazel Ament of West Liberty, IA and Ethlyn Bierman of Winfield, IA.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, Oct 31, 1990 at 11 a.m. at Schultz's Funeral Home in Monona. Rev. Gary Dobbins officiating. Burial was in Sixteen Cemetery, rural Monona. Schultz's Funeral Home waws in charge.
